Build Artifacts

Completed builds can include:

Artifact	Description
ISO or image	Bootable artifact for VM or hardware deployment
Recipe JSON	The build configuration used to create the image
Test report	Verification results and evidence
Build log	Build-stage output useful for debugging
Snapshot	Saved VM state for Pro and Enterprise workflows

Build Status

Status	Description
pending	Build is queued
building	Image generation is in progress
testing	OpenFactory is booting or verifying the image
completed	Build and required tests passed
failed	Build or verification failed

Supported Bases

OpenFactory supports common Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, openSUSE, Proxmox, and desktop Linux variants. Availability changes as upstream projects publish new releases; the console and recipe templates are the source of truth for selectable versions.
